Hunting/Conservation by Dennis French-  Is the increase in poaching a result of unit changes, or just more ‘newsworthy’?  G&F relies on public for information and alert citizens often get the crimes reported.  The wolf re-listing is being challenged for Gov Mead; don’t expect any changes soon.

Competitions-    S/T had no report from state pistol in Laramie or HP/SR in Guernsey. K Schaumann said she was only WY pistol shooter and 3 came from CO.    2015 dates set-   JrOlympics Jan 17&18, Paul Dey @ Laramie Co Sports Complex;  3P SB @ Lander, D Irvine Mar 21; 4P SB and International Air Rifle@Lander Apr11, D Irvine;  Mid-range @Platte River GC Jun 20;  Long Range Black Powder@Worland July 1-2; Long range HP @ Worland July 11-12; possible pistol in June.

Legislative-   2015 will be budget session, don’t expect any gun bills.  The Uof WY board voted to not allow open or CCarry on campus, however the staff supported it.  WSSA PAC backed K Kroecker and he won.  Peter’s was replaced and  he had not been a WSSA friend.

Clubs     LVSA by Sebesta-  indoor shooting w/ 3P, air, and open nights; Juniors on Mon evenings reported gaining members; 4-H starts in Jan with ‘full house’.  Outdoor- cowboy action monthly, some 100 .22 bench events; checking on repairs to 600/1000 yard pit, no one willing to re-start a NMC.    Platte River by DiIlrio & Hollander-  Will host the State mid range in June, plan a Garand event and other events to get shooters interested.      Laramie had new $120000 range house but its with no storage or inside shooting.

Adjourned with best wishes for a merry Christmas and a Blessed New year @ 12:25PM  E’d to BOD 12/8/14
