EIC RIFLE MATCH

DATE:      20 – 21 JULY 2013

LOCATION: Laramie, Wyoming:  Go north on 9^th Street/ Rogers Canyon Road (continue north past the City land fill) to Laramie Rifle Range Road.   Enter the LRRC Range at the sign on east side of the highway.  Proceed east and south past “club house” & multipurpose range.   ** Travel up the hill and follow the signs to the “Canyon Range”. Park your camper trailers either in the parking area at the lower ranges, or at the top of the hill in the shotgun range parking lot.  Tent camping is recommended at the area to the north of the shotgun range.  There is a shower located in the range building on the lower range which is available to competitors and family members.

ELIGIBILITY:  Membership in the Wyoming State Shooting Association or a card carrying member of any state shooting association.  NRA membership is encouraged.  

Entries are due by 19 July 2013.  Make checks payable to Roy Bane.   Mail your entry with the proper fees to the address below. No entry will be accepted without payment, unless prior arrangement is made. (Military teams etc)_. Entries on the match day are accepted depending on range capacity available.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Categories:  NRA Match rifle or Service Rifle for the team match.  Teams may have both rifle categories on their team. Such teams are considered “match rifle” teams.

RULES:     NRA Rules for team match, and CMP rules for the EIC match

AWARDS:   Photos of the WSSA Remington Bronze to all winning team members plus cash           .

                      The CMP provides the awards for the EIC match

SQUADDING:   By team.  

*AMMO:  Each team member will need a minimum of 88 rounds for the team match.  Those shooting the EIC will need an additional 50 rounds.  (This is a minimum and doesn’t consider a possible alibi string of fire in either event.  BRING MORE THAN 138 RDS.   160 RDS IS RECOMMENDED FOR THE COMPLETE WEEKEND.

     Team Match:      This team match is a 3200 point aggregate match (800 pts per team member). 

The four person team will include the shooter, coach, scorer, and pit person.

Teams are permitted assistance for the support duties if help is available.  Sighting shots are permitted.

The match will commence on the 200yd line with the standing phase for the 1^st pair. A pit change will take place after the first pair shoot the short range course (200 & 300 yd. ) The second pair will shoot the SR, starting from the 300 yd line concluding with RF sitting & 200yds.   The 2^nd pair will then shoot their 600 yd phase before the final pit change.  The match will conclude with the 1^st pair shooting their 600yds.   Pit change intervals may be change depending on the number of teams in the match
