LOCATION: CR&PC OUTDOOR RANGE - 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF CHEYENNE, WY .GO NORTH ON INTERSTATE 25 TO EXIT 16,HORSE CREEK ROAD FOR 3.3 MILES TO TELEPHONE ROAD. NORTH ON TELEPHONE ROAD FOR 2 MILES. TURN EAST ON DIRT ROAD FOR 1/2 MILE TO RANGE GATE. THE MATCH WILL BE SHOT ON THE HIGH POWER RANGE.

 

ELIGBILITY:  Membership in Wyoming State Shooting Association or a card carrying member of their respective State Associations

 

 

ENTRIES & FEES: Advanced entries appreciated until 23 August 2013. Entries on match day are accepted depending on range capacity and spuadding still available.

 

Individual Championship package fees $40.00

Junior Individual Championship Fees $15.00

Team Match (per team) $24.00      Advanced entry not required

RETURNED FEES: Anyone wishing to withdraw their entry, notify the individual listed above 24 hours prior to match date (August 23) for full refund. No refund will be granted after the match dates.

 

CHALLENGE FEE: $2.00

 

 

 

SQUADDING:  All matches are pre-squadded. Squadding tickets for individual matches will be issued at the 600 yard line starting at 12:00 PM ( of the match date. Every reasonable attempt will be made to squad competitors with like classification on the same or successive relays. Late entries will be squadded at the discretion of match sponsor.

 

Classification: NRA High Power Classification.

 

RULES: Current NRA High Power Rifle rules will govern

 

RIFLES AND AMMUNITION:  Match Rifle (3.3, 3.3.1) Service Rifle (rule 3.1, 3.1.1, 3.1.2) . Ammunition will be provided by competitor. Any ammunition except tracer or incendiary

 

AWARDS: Award groups must contain at least 5 competitors or they will combine with the next higher class. If there are fewer than five

high masters, they must compete for open awards only. Awards for match winners and classification places will be given for each fired match and the aggregate. Competitors can be awarded trophies, medals, or cash.

Match 1:    600 yards, Prone Position, 2 sighters and 20 record shots, 22 minutes.  ( MR target )

Match 2:    600 yards, Prone Position, 2 sighters and 20 record shots, 22 minutes   ( MR target )

 

Sunday August 25, 2013 ( 8:00 AM )

 

Match 3:    200 yards, Standing Position, 2 sighters and 20 record shots, 22 minutes  ( SR target )

Match 4:    200 yards, Sitting or Kneeling, 2 sighters in 2 minutes, 2 ten shot strings, 60 seconds per ten shot string.  ( SR target )

Match 5:    300 yards, Prone, 2 sighters in 2 minutes, and 2 ten shot strings, 70 seconds per ten shot string.  (SR-3 target )

Match 6:    Aggregate, Matches 1,2,3,4,5

 

 

 

 

 

TEAM MATCH

Saturday August 24, 2013  (8:00 AM)

 

Team captain and coach may be firing members. Team Captains are responsible to provide a scorer and a person for pit duty for each  stage. These functions may be performed by firing members of their teams.  The first pair of shooters will complete their team match firing (200,300,600 yards) before a pit change is made.

 

Stage1: 200 yards, Standing position, 2 sighters and 10 record shots, 27 minutes per pair shooters

Stage2: 300 yards, Prone, 2 sighters in 2 minutes, and 1 ten shot string, 70 seconds per ten shot string.

Stage3: 600 yards, Prone Position, 2 sighters and 10 record shots, 27 minutes per pair shooters

 

 

 

GENERAL      Shooters will score and operate targets.  Drinking water will be available.
